Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers Needed at the colonial mansion of William Paca - If you love history and sharing it with others, there’sno better place to volunteer than Historic Annapolis Foundation’s William Paca House. The Foundation offers daily tours of the 1763 home of William Paca, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and three time governor of Maryland.
Through interpretive tours of the Paca House, docents take visitors back to a criticaltime in the formation of our nation as they share the stories and lives of William Paca, hisfamily and servants. After receiving comprehensive training, docents are asked to work aminimum of two two-hour shifts permonth. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Judith Homorsky,Docent Coordinator at 410-990-4754 or Judith.homorsky@annapolis.org 6/9
