GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTING JOB OPPORTUNITIES

FOR POSTING ON MRSPA WEBSITE

As both a service to the community and to MRSPA members, volunteer and employment opportunities are posted on the MRSPA website based on the following guidelines:

1. Requests are accepted from government and non-government organizations, schools, agencies and the like.

2. Specific descriptions of the job should include requirements, liabilities and expectations including necessary skills.

3. Locale where work is to be conducted.

4. What, if any, formal training is required or desired? If required, will training be provided at no charge?

5. Name, address, telephone number, email address and name of contact person of the requesting group, as well as information on how to apply, are to be included.

6. Opportunities will be shared with MRSPA members.

7. The request will be posted on the website for sixty days unless notified that the position has been filled or other arrangements have been made.

8. The MRSPA Pre-Retirement Chair, the webmaster and/or the Executive Director are to make the final decision on acceptance of requests.

9. MRSPA'S policy for "job posting notification for applicants" is stated in the following:

MRSPA will post job opportunities for retirees as we receive them from potential private and public employers. It is our hope that many employers who need to tap into the considerable expertise of our retirees will find suitable applicants. For our members, we are pleased to provide a service that we are sure is of great interest. We ask any potential employees/employers to be mindful of the conditions under which this service is provided.

These listings are provided as a free service to our members. In addition, no fee is charged to the advertisers or users.

MRSPA does not investigate and makes no representation with respect to advertisers, applicants, information, services, products or entities herein and makes no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranties of fitness or legality of any particular purpose.

All listings and offerings on this site are "as is" and "where is".
