LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES 2006-2008

The MRSPA Legislative Committee has statewide representation and provides leadership to the members on legislative issues which affect its members and all Maryland citizens. These legislative priorities were developed with the participation and support of members.  The committee reviews, analyzes and takes positions on legislation, has a legislative alert system that facilitates communication with members and legislators, and keeps members informed about legislative efforts when the Maryland General Assembly is in session.  Each year the MRSPA Legislative Committee sponsors a legislative workshop to inform local associations about legislative issues.
