Finance Committee

Committee Chair:        

  • Dr. Stephen M. Raucher, Montgomery County
     

Committee Charge:      

  • To prepare a proposed  balanced budget

  • To present the proposed budget to the Board of Directors and at the Annual Meeting

  • To recommend appropriate investment venues to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors

  • To monitor the portfolio and make appropriate recommendations

Responsibilities:     

  • To send budget request forms to all officers, Area Directors and committee chairs

  • To prepare a proposed budget

  • To monitor investments

  • To propose dues increases as required

  • To keep local treasurers aware of required tax filings

  • To participate in the audit report

  • To schedule actuarial studies and determine annual health account contributions for Retiree Health Care Trust
