Seventeen Maryland Retired School Personnel Association members were selected for induction into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, which honors senior citizens who have made exemplary contributions to society.
The induction celebration has been postponed from October 2020 until April 2021, due to virus issues. Pictures will be posted as soon as the induction takes place.

“MRSPA is extremely proud of our member inductees and recognizes them for their caring and volunteer efforts in improving the lives of others. Their names will be recorded in the Archives of the Maryland Hall of Fame in perpetuity,” states Ann Marie Downey, MRSPA past president.
The 9 MRSPA member inductees for 2019 were Deborah Ahalt, Anne Arundel County; Sally McNelis Bowerman, Baltimore County; Virginia Gardner Crespo and Mildred Gardner, Anne Arundel County; Nancy Harrington, Kent County; Eugene Streagle, Howard County; Sheryl Taylor, Cecil County; Bonnie Troxell, Allegany County; and Stanley Tweedy, Prince George’s County.
