Membership Types

**Members shall retain their membership in order to continue to receive benefits.**

1. Active Membership

a) All retired school personnel are eligible for active membership upon payment of annual dues.

b) They shall be entitled to participate in all activities of the Association including chairing a committee, voting, and holding elective office.

c) Members shall retain membership in order to continue to receive benefits. 

2. Emeritus Membership

a) Active members who have reached the age of 90 prior to 7/1 of the current membership year.  Examples:  A person turns 90 in March of same year (90 prior to 7/1/2022).  If a person turns 90 in October (90 in October of 2022), he/she will be emeritus in the next membership year starting 7/1/2023.

b) They shall be entitled to participate in all activities of the Association, including chairing a committee, voting, and holding elective office.

c) Members shall retain membership in order to continue to receive benefits.

3. Associate Membership

a)Spouses or surviving spouses who are supportive of the goals and purposes of the Association, upon payment of dues.

b) Currently employed school personnel and their spouses, upon payment of dues.

c)Associate members shall be entitled to participate in all activities of the Association and be eligible for benefits, except chairing a committee, voting and holding elective office.
