Membership Committee

Committee Charge:

Recruit, retain, and regain members
Plan for growth in membership at the state and local levels
Promote the well-being of our members by helping them obtain services and information to become informed consumers.
Investigate and recommend for approval selected benefits for members to the Board of Directors.
The benefits will be evaluated and updated to meet members’ needs.
Work with the President, Executive Director, and MRSPA committees to help achieve the Association’s goals and to promote MRSPA, its mission and vision.

Committee Responsibilities:

• Set MRSPA membership goals

• Recognize local associations at the annual meeting who have
numerical and percentage increases in membership according to the following
membership numbers

• 0-199 members

• 200-899 members

• 900 or more members

• Include representation from each of the area director divisions

• Communicate with and provide support to local membership committees or committee chairs
